Islamic Republic of Iran is the host of the 11th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Tehran from 17 to 19 Feb 2024 in Aftab e Enghelab Sports Complex.This is Iran's 4th hosting in 11 Asian Indoor Championships. Mehdi Mobini the president of the Athletics Federation said: this Championship is very important for us and for the athletes of our country. With the support and assistance of the Minister of Sports and Youth Mr. Kioumars Hashemi, we will do our best to host this event efficiently.

Iran Athletics National Team left for Kuwait to participate in the fourth Asian Youth Athletics Championships which is holding from 13 to 16 Oct 2022.
